Relax outdoors amongst good company and enjoy listening to music under the stars! Brucemore’s Music in the Courtyard series returns in August 2025, but with a twist. Due to preservation work impacting access to the Courtyard, this year’s performances will take place in the Peggy Boyle Whitworth Amphitheater.

Soak in the breezy vibes and smooth sounds of classic yacht rock performed live on the Peggy Deck. This show is designed for fans of artists like the Doobie Brothers, Christopher Cross, Ambrosia, Rupert Holmes, Robbie Dupree, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Toto, and Steely Dan. The crew of the SS Brucemore will put their own twists on familiar songs out on the great green ocean of the Peggy Whitworth Amphitheater. Come relax, have fun with friends and family, and boogie along under the night sky.

At Brucemore, we believe home (and music) is where the heart is. Call Brucemore your home with our second installment of Music (Not) in the Courtyard – Mi Casa Es Su Casa (My House Is Your House)! Join artists Hank Welter, Kelsey Madsen, and Lucas Blekeberg as they explore what makes a home, with music held close to their hearts.

Admission:

• Adult: $25
• Student: $15

• A $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.

How does seating work?

• This event takes place outdoors on grass
• Please bring your own chair or blanket.
• Seating space is available on a first come basis.

Things to Know Before You Arrive:

• This event takes place outdoors on grass and may continue in a light rain.
• Chairs and tables will not be provided at this event. Please bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy the performance.
• The site will open at 7:00 PM for parking and seating. The performance will begin at 7:30 PM.
• The only gate that will open to vehicles for on-site parking is at 2160 Linden Drive SE. Please arrive by 7:25 p.m. as the gate will close promptly.
• You are welcome to bring your own snacks, picnics, and beverages (beer and wine allowed) to enjoy at your seat beginning as early as 7:00 PM or throughout the show. Concessions will not be available for sale at this event.
• Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

What to Do When You Arrive:

• Please enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Drive SE.
• Follow signage and staff directions to open parking spaces. Accessible parking will be available.
• Check in with the staff member at the entrance to the Amphitheater with the name on your ticket order or purchase a ticket.

Ticket Policies: 

All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here. Online and phone orders are subject to a $4.00 processing fee per order. Tickets can be purchased at the event, subject to availability.

Weather Policies: 

The event occurs fully outdoors and may be held in light rain. If the event cannot be held due to weather, a decision will be made by 5:00 PM  and posted on Brucemore’s website and social media. Ticket holders will be notified by phone. There will be no refunds, only exchanges to another date if tickets are available.

Photography and Video Notice: 

At this event, photography and videos may be recorded. By attending this event, you may be included in these photos and videos. Your attendance at this event grants your permission to be in these photos or videos, which may be used for educational, archival, or promotional purposes. If you have concerns about your likeness appearing in these photos and videos, please talk to a staff member when you check in for the event.

Preservation in Progress:

This year Brucemore is doing exciting preservation work to maintain several historic buildings. Due to this work, a portion of the Carriage House parking lot will be unavailable. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this time!

All ticket holders will be placed on a check-in list. You only need to use mail as a delivery method if you would like a physical ticket.
